Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has found himself in trouble as his former manager is reportedly accusing him of physical and verbal abuse. A close associate of the actor claims that his former manager, Vipin Kumar, filed a complaint with the Info Park Police in Kochi after he received treatment at a hospital for wounds.

As per the complaint made by Vipin, the incident took place recently when Unni Mukundan was allegedly angry over a Facebook post by Vipin. The incident took place in the flat owned by the actor in Cochin.

As per Vipin, the actor called him to an empty parking area and assaulted him physically. Vipin also claimed that Unni smashed his expensive cooling glasses, which were gifted by another actor with whom Unni Mukundan had a strained relationship. Vipin further alleged that Unni hit him on the chin and tried to continue the assault, chasing him even after he managed to escape. A resident of the apartment building intervened and stopped the actor, he claimed. Vipin added that the actor threatened to kill him if he continued with the act.

A case has been registered against the actor following the complaint made by Vipin Mohan at the Info park police station. The FIR alleges that the actor slapped the complainant in the face and threatened to kill him.

Vipin claimed that Unni’s relations with several industry collaborators had soured and that he was removed from a project by a major producer in the month of April. The complaint also cites that the actor had been under emotional distress following the failure of his recent movie ‘Get set Baby’ which did not do well in the box office.

Vipin alleged that Unni Mukundan was upset over a Facebook post he had posted congratulating another actor following the success of the movie. Vipin alleged that it was for this reason that he was asked to resign from the job.
