Some of the biggest names from the South film industry gathered to bless the newlywed couple, and the pictures soon went viral on social media. Some of the celebrities who attended the wedding reception of Akhil and Zainab included Ram Charan, Yash, Mahesh Babu, and Kiccha Sudeepa, among others.

i: Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni’s son Akhil Akkineni got married in a lavish wedding with Zainab Ravdjee in an intimate wedding ceremony in Hyderabad on Friday (June 6). Their wedding celebrations were followed by a grand reception hosted by the Akkineni family, which was attended by who’s who of the South Indian film industry.

Annapurna Studios shared photos from the lavish wedding reception of Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee on their official Instagram handle. In the pictures, groom Akhil was seen clad in a white tuxedo, while his wife Zainab opted for a gorgeous peach gown teamed up with layered diamond necklaces.

Among the guests who graced the occasion were Ram Charan with his wife Upasana Konidela, Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar with daughter Sitara, Yash, Suriya, Nani, Adivi Sesh, Allu Aravind, Kiccha Sudeepa, Naga Chaitanya, and Sobhita Dhulipala, among others.

Who is Zainab Ravdjee?

Zainab Ravdjee is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, originally from Hyderabad. She is an artist, businesswoman, and a perfumer from Mumbai.

For the unversed, she tied the knot with Akhil Akkineni as per Telugu wedding traditions. Nagarjuna shared the pictures on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “With immense joy, Amala and I are delighted to share that our dear son has married his beloved Zainab in a beautiful ceremony (3:35 am) at our home, where our hearts belong. We watched a dream come true surrounded by love, laughter, and those dearest to us. We seek your blessings as they begin this new journey together. With love and gratitude.”
