Actor Paresh Rawal broke the hearts of several fans when he announced his exit from the highly anticipated movie, Hera Pheri 3, also starring Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. After his exit from the film, many wondered how there could be Hera Pheri without the iconic character of Baburao. Now, the veteran actor has reacted to a fan’s request to join the film again, and this time, the response has been positive.
Is Paresh Rawal returning to Hera Pheri 3?
On Monday (June 9), a fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to request Paresh Rawal to reconsider his decision to join Hera Pheri 3 as he is the “hero” of the film. The fan wrote, “Sir please think 🤔🤔 Once again to join HERA FERI movie 🍿 You are the hero of this movie ❤️.”
The veteran actor responded to the fan and wrote, “NO … There are Three Heroes in Hera Pheri”, accompanied by a folded hand and a red heart emoji.
On May 18, the actor officially announced on X that he is no longer a part of Hera Pheri 3, leaving fans disappointed. He shared, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was not due to creative differences. I reiterate that there are no creative disagreement with the filmmaker. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr Priyadarshan.”
About Hera Pheri franchise
Directed by Priyadarshan, the first Hera Pheri was released in 2000, starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The film was a blockbuster hit. The trio returned with the sequel to the movie, Hera Pheri 2, in 2016, which was directed by Neeraj Vora. Over the years, both films have received cult classic status in Indian cinema.
