Dipika made a comeback on TV with Celebrity MasterChef India after a five-year hiatus, but made a voluntary exit from the show due to health issues. Now, in a new YouTube vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim shared about Dipika’s health and the symptoms the actress experienced.

Popular television actress Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with a ‘tennis ball-sized’ tumour in her liver. Her husband and actor, Shoaib Ibrahim, took to social media to share an update with their fans on Dipika’s health, revealing that she will be hospitalised again for surgery.

Shoaib revealed that the doctor asked them to visit again, adding that doctors have advised Dipika to get admitted to the hospital for further treatment. While initial reports suggest that the tumour in the liver is benign, some test results are still awaited to confirm if the tumour is cancerous or not.

For the treatment, Dipika Kakar is expected to undergo surgery soon at the Kokilaben Hospital, and further procedures are yet to be decided after consulting a liver specialist.

In a recent vlog, Dipika’s husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared that the Sasural Simar Ka actress had been experiencing stomach pain, which they initially thought to be acidity. After consulting the family doctor and undergoing a few blood tests, it was found that she had an infection. When further medical investigations were conducted through a CT scan, a tennis ball-sized tumour was detected in the left lobe of her liver.

He further added, “This was the first thought in Dipika’s mind as well when she got the report. That’s why she started crying… Please pray for us…I want to request our haters, too. You can hate us, abuse us… But at this moment, please pray for us.”

Dipika was previously married to Raunak Samson, but the duo separated after four years of marriage. Dipika and Shoaib met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and later tied the knot in 2018. They welcomed their first child, a son named Ruhan, in 2023.
