Gill is currently leading Gujarat Titans in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. GT are currently placed at the top of the points table with 12 points with 6 wins in 8 matches.Responding to Hollywood reporter's query, Gill clarified that he has been single for three years to put the full stop on all speculations, calling rumours as 'ridiculous'.

India's white-ball vice-captain and Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill recently broke his silence over the rumours over his like up with cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara. "I mean, I've been single for over three years, and so many speculations and rumours link me with different people. And sometimes, it's so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life. And I would be hearing rumours about why I'm with this person and this person, where else I'd be like," said Gill.

With current ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma is most likely to step down from the helm, Gill is considered to be the strongest contender for the responsibility. Gill further added that he is currently focusing on his career and can't afford to invest 300 days a year in someone.

"Like, I know I'm so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There is no space in my life to be with someone like 300 days a year. We are on the road travelling somewhere. So there is hardly any time to be able to be with someone or invest, you know, the time to be with someone in a relationship," he added.
