The suspenseful Telugu thriller HIT: The Third Case, starring Nani, has been slated for its OTT debut on May 29, 2025. The streaming rights have been secured by Netflix, and the film will be made available in five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.\

In a post featuring the film’s poster, the platform announced, “He’s Arjun for the loved ones and Sarkaar for the criminals. Watch HIT: The Third Case, out 29 May, on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.”

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The Third Case serves as the third instalment in the gripping crime thriller franchise. The first two entries – HIT: The First Case (2020) and HIT: The Second Case (2022) were led by Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, respectively.
Anticipation for the film’s digital release has been widely expressed by fans online. One enthusiastic viewer commented, “Finallyyyy the wait is over.” Another shared, “Nani on Netflix! Such an awesome film,” while many others echoed similar sentiments.
HIT 3 plot and trailer
In this chapter, Nani portrays SP Arjun Sarkar, a no-nonsense cop tasked with solving a brutal murder case. His character navigates not only the dark web of crime but also an emotional journey with his lover, Mrudula, played by Srinidhi Shetty.
A compelling antagonist is portrayed by Prateik Smita Patil, who appears as Alpha. Supporting roles are undertaken by actors Surya Srinivas and Adil Pala. Adding an extra layer of intrigue, actor Karthi makes a brief cameo as ACP Veerappan, setting the stage for his leading role in the upcoming HIT 4.
HIT 3 box office collection
The film, produced by Nani’s sister Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema in collaboration with Unanimous Productions, was originally released in theatres on May 1. It faced box office competition from Suriya’s Retro but managed to pull ahead, particularly in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions.
HIT: The Third Case minted Rs 118.62 crore worldwide and Rs 80.3 crore in India net. Notably, the Telugu film has become the first one in the franchise to reach this milestone.
