The longest-running and most loved television sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has created a legacy of its own. Now, a user has dug out an old episode where Dayaben’s mother was revealed in the show, and it has created quite a buzz on social media.

Fans have long been curious to know who Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, often talks on the phone when she says “Haan Maa” and then goes on to talk about Jethalal’s antics and the problems in Gokuldham Society.

About Dayaben’s return to TMKOC

In April this year, producer Asit Modi confirmed Dayaben’s return to the popular show. He told the Indian Express, “We will definitely bring back the character of Daya Bhabhi. People say they haven’t enjoyed the show since Daya Bhabhi’s departure. I completely agree. Our entire team is trying to bring back the character of Daya Bhabhi to the show soon.”

He added, “I have shortlisted some people for this role, and you will meet them soon. It’s been five years since Disha left the show, and we still miss her. She cared deeply for her fellow actors and the crew. Our goal is to find someone like Disha Vakani.”

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running for 16 years. Disha Vakani, who played the role of Dayaben, went on maternity leave in 2018 and has not returned to the show since.

Well, now, a user has finally found out that in an old episode, the makers revealed the face of Dayaben’s mother, but audiences seem to have missed it. However, now, you can watch the episode on YouTube and finally know who Dayaben often talks to on the phone.

Dayaben’s mother revealed

A user on social media has shared a video revealing that in episode number 394, Dayaben’s mother’s face has been revealed by the makers. Sharing the video, he wrote in the caption, “Now you can die in peace.” The video has sparked excitement among fans. Watch the video below:
