Strong winds in Delhi, rain alert in UP and Haryana

Delhi’s weather changed on Friday as several parts of the capital witnessed rainfall, leading to a drop in temperature. The Meteorological Department has now forecast more rain and strong winds in the city. In addition, rain alerts have been issued for several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana, while hilly regions may experience hailstorms.

New Delhi:

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is likely to experience thunderstorms and rain on Saturday as well. Delhi witnessed a sudden weather change on Friday after a day of intense heat and sunshine. The sweltering conditions persisted through the day, making it difficult for residents to step outside. However, by evening, gusty winds swept across the city, accompanied by heavy rainfall in several areas, bringing much-needed relief from the scorching heat. The downpour led to a noticeable drop in temperature.
