Cocktail recipes at home:

Here are three delicious cocktail recipes that you can easily craft at home:

1. Toki™ Matcha Haiboru

The Toki™ Matcha Haiboru, shared by Shibani Surkund, is a refreshing highball cocktail that blends the smooth, crisp notes of Toki™ Suntory Whisky with the earthy richness of matcha.

Ingredients:

Toki™ Suntory Whisky – 45ml

Granulated Sugar – 10g

Warm Water – 10ml

Matcha Tea – 5g

Fresh Lemon Juice – 20ml

Tonic Water – 100ml

Clear Pencil Ice – 1 amount

Lemon Peel – 1 amount

Method:

Dissolve granulated sugar in warm water.

Sift the Matcha Green Tea and add it to the sugar solution and whisk.

In a highball glass, add the clear Ice, Toki Suntory Whisky and stir.

Add the tonic water and top up the glass with the Matcha Sugar solution.

Squeeze lemon peel over the drink, Stir, Garnish and Enjoy.

2. Jim Beam Summer Smash

The Jim Beam Summer Smash, shared by Robert Hospet, is a symphony of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavours. The tropical sweetness of mango complements the rich caramel notes of Jim Beam Bourbon, while the tulsi and ginger add a herbal and peppery kick.

The jaggery syrup provides a rustic sweetness that ties the drink to Indian roots. Soda water lightens the cocktail, making it refreshing and easy to sip.

Ingredients:

Jim Beam Bourbon – 60 ml

Fresh Mango Pulp – 30 ml (Use ripe Alphonso mangoes for the best flavour)

Tulsi Leaves (Holy Basil) 6-8 leaves

Fresh Lime Juice – 20 ml

Jaggery Syrup – 15 ml (Boil jaggery with water until it forms a syrup)

Ginger Juice – 10 ml (Grate fresh ginger and extract the juice)

Jim Beam Soda

Method:

Take a rocks glass or a short tumbler.

Chill the glass with ice and set it aside.

In a shaker, muddle the tulsi leaves gently to release their aromatic oils.

Add fresh mango pulp, lime juice, jaggery syrup, and ginger juice.

Pour in the Jim Beam Bourbon and fill the shaker with crushed ice.

Shake the mixture vigorously for 15-20 seconds to combine all the flavours.

Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass filled with fresh crushed ice.

Add a splash of Jim Beam soda water for effervescence.

Glassware: Old Fashioned.

Garnish: A sprig of mint and a thin slice of raw mango.

3. Laphroaig® Penicillin

The Laphroaig® Penicillin, shared by Tanvi Dandekar, is a bold, smoky cocktail crafted with Laphroaig® Select, balanced by zesty citrus and a touch of sweet honey.

Ingredients:

Laphroaig® Select – 50ml

Fresh Ginger Juice – 15ml

Lemon Juice – 15ml

Honey – 10ml

1 clear Block Ice (for serving)

Method:

Shaken and strained.

Glassware: Old Fashioned Glass.

Garnish: Yellow Lemon Peel.
