The Galaxy S25 FE is catching attention, as it is rumoured to be released by late 2025 along with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Samsung is planning to add a fifth device, the Galaxy S25 FE, to its Galaxy S25 lineup after releasing four previous models. Recent leaks have shown that the new phone, set to follow the Galaxy S24 FE, will feature some major improvements. The front camera has been upgraded and may now take better selfies. The phone has also been tested on Geekbench, revealing its processing speed and how it performs.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE camera upgrade

A leak from GalaxyClub says the Galaxy S25 FE might have a 12MP front camera, just like the ones in the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. This is better than the 10 MP front cameras that came in the Galaxy S23 FE and S24 FE. The rear camera, however, will probably stay a 50 MP sensor, just like the ones in the previous models. This camera setup may make selfies look clearer and helps take good pictures from the back camera too.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE processor and performance

According to Geekbench, the Galaxy S25 FE with model number SM-S731U scored 2,064 in single-core and 6,899 in multi-core, much like the Galaxy S24 FE. The phone comes with Android 16, 8GB of RAM, and is believed to have a deca-core processor called the Exynos 2400, along with the Xclipse 940 GPU. One core in the CPU runs at 3.21 GHz, two run at 2.90 GHz, three at 2.00 GHz, and four at 1.96 GHz. Reports say Samsung might choose the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 if it cannot meet Exynos production, since it is the chip used in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to launch in late September or early October 2025. The device could have the same screen and battery as the Galaxy S24 FE but a better 12 MP front camera. As Samsung prepares the launch, we can expect more information about the phone in the upcoming months.
