Royal Enfield Classic 650 Launched At Rs 3.37 Lakh, The Twin Everyone Was Waiting For

Royal Enfield has finally launched the Classic 650 in the Indian market. It is priced from Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). Here is everything you need to know about the new latest twin cylinder from the RE stable.

The Classic 650 shares a lot of its components with the Shotgun 650 rather than any of the twin-cylinder bikes in the lineup. It is also the 6th twin-cylinder motorcycle in the lineup right after the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Bear 650, Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650. The bike was revealed last year at EICMA 2024.

Royal Enfield has launched the latest twin cylinder, the Classic 650 in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the one that everyone was waiting for and for a lot of people this would bring back the memories of having a larger capacity Classic which was sorely missing in the current lineup.

It continues to have the iconic 649cc parallel twin engine which produces 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip-assist clutch. The Classic 650 weighs 243 kgs which makes it the heaviest Royal Enfield yet. The Classic 650 has the same 19-inch front and 18-inch rear on the Shotgun 650 but has wire-spoke wheels wrapped in MRF NyloHigh tyres. It has a 43mm telescopic front suspension with 120 mm  of travel and twin shock tubes at the rear with 90 mm of travel.

In terms of features, there is not much offered on Classic 650 and it gets a similar instrument cluster to the Classic 350. It also gets a LED headlight and taillight but the indicators remains halogen. The tripper navigation pod is also available and there is a USB charger as well.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 will be available in four colours and here is the full pricing of all the variants:
