Restaurant-style easy veg soya matar kebab recipe to impress your guests

Impress your guests with this easy, restaurant-style veg soya matar kebab recipe that’s full of flavour and nutrition. Made with protein-rich soya chunks and green peas, these kebabs are crispy, delicious, and perfect for any party or evening snack.

Are you craving a snack that is healthy and also vegetarian? Packed with nutrients and protein, and lots of flavours veg kebabs like restaurant are just perfect for your evening snacks or for hosting a party.

All you need is the right technique and expert guidance to prepare flavourful and delicious party snack for yourself or the family.

Method to prepare at home: 

Soak soy Granules with water for 10 minutes to make them soft.

After 10 minutes, strain the soya granules and discard the water.

Take a mixing bowl and grate the boiled potatoes so that there are no lumps.

Add boiled green peas, soya granules (squeeze all the water from the soya granules by pressing them between your palm and then adding).

Now add all the spices- Garam masala, grated ginger, chopped green chillies, crushed coriander seed, black pepper powder, cumin powder, salt to taste, freshly chopped coriander leaves and mix until well combined.

Lastly add bread crumbs and mix them well.

If the mixture is sticky, add more bread crumbs accordingly.

Take a satay stick and one portion of green peas soya granule mixture, and press each part along the length of a stick to make each kebab approximately 5 inches in length. Brush each kebab with the oil.

Take a non-stick pan in which the entire length of the skewer gets fitted and grease the pan with oil.

When the pan becomes a little hot, put the kebab in a frying pan and cook on medium flame by rolling on all sides until golden all around.

Turn them all around after 2 minutes on medium flame.

Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

Veg kebab recipe

Ingredients:

200 gm Green Peas boiled

3/4 cup Soya granules

2 medium-sized potatoes boiled

¾ cup Bread Crumbs or as require

 ¾ tsp Garam masala

 ½ tsp ginger, grated

 1 piece green chilli chopped

 ¾ tsp Cumin powder

 ½ tsp coriander seed, crushed

 ¼ tsp Black pepper powder

 Salt to taste

 Coriander leaves, freshly chopped

Oil for shallow fry:
