Railway starts summer special train between Gorakhpur, Bengaluru

The special train will run three times in both directions between Gorakhpur and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal in Bengaluru. The train is being run to handle the heavy rush of travelers during the summer vacation.

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway (NER), this special train will run three times in both directions between Gorakhpur and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal in Bengaluru. The train is being run to handle the heavy rush of travelers during the summer vacation.

To manage the high number of passengers during summer holidays, the North Eastern Railway announced a special summer train between Gorakhpur and Bengaluru on Sunday. This train will have one First AC coach, two Second AC coaches, four Third AC coaches, seven Sleeper class coaches, and four General class coaches, according to Singh.

The train will stop at important stations like Kaduru, Davangere, Ghataprabha, Pune, Rani Kamlapati, Veerangana Lakshmibai (Jhansi), Prayagraj Junction, and Varanasi.

Train number 06529 will start from Bengaluru at 7 PM on May 12, 19, and 26. It will reach Gorakhpur at 6:40 AM on the fourth day. On the other hand, train number 06530 will begin its journey from Gorakhpur on May 16, 23, and 30.

Officials have said that this temporary train service will help many people who are traveling between Purvanchal and Bengaluru during this busy season.
