After completing their highest-ever chase in the cash-rich league, RCB accomplished a major feat in IPL which has been achieved by none other team. The Royals Challengers became the first franchise in the cash-rich league to win an unbeaten away record in a season. Back in the 2012 edition, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) attained seven wins but lost a game each away from their home.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) registered a historic victory in the last league match of the Indian Premier League 2025 on Tuesday against Lucknow Super Giants confirming the second spot on the points table. While the bowling unit couldn’t do much from their side, the batters shined for the franchise powering them to am imposing chase.

They ended the group stage with 19 points, the same as Punjab, but the net run rate of 0.30 put them behind the table-toppers. the Royal Challengers have booked a date with Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 on Thursday while Gujarat Titans will lock horns against Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator on Friday.
