Apart from the launch timeline, the tipster has also shed light on the expected specifications and the price for the OnePlus Nord 5. 

OnePlus Nord is known for its all-rounder experience at a reasonable price. Now, the tech giant is again focusing on the next iteration of the Nord series. The OnePlus Nord 5 launch is expected soon. If leaks are to be believed, the OnePlus Nord 5 could arrive in India sometime between June and July 2025. Tipster Debayan Roy recently hinted at this timeline for the Nord 4’s successor.  

OnePlus Nord 5 specifications and features (expected)

On the back, the Nord 5 might feature a dual-camera setup – a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, there may be a 16MP front camera. Talking about the battery life, it might be a highlight as rumours suggest a large 7,000mAh battery with a 100W wired fast charging. The phone is expected to have a glass back with a plastic middle frame, similar to what we’ve seen before.

While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed anything officially, some key details have started to surface. The OnePlus Nord 5 is tipped to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. This is believed to be a slightly tweaked version of the Dimensity 9400. If true, it could bring a noticeable upgrade over the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 used in the Nord 4. It may feature a 1.5K flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. An under-display fingerprint scanner is also likely, which has become standard for the Nord series.

OnePlus Nord 5 expected price

The tipster shared that the phone might be priced around Rs 30,000. That’s very close to what the OnePlus Nord 4 launched last year, making it a likely mid-range contender again. Like previous models, the Nord 5 is expected to be sold via Amazon and the OnePlus India website.

However, for the official price, we will have to wait for the official launch.
