The OnePlus 13R features a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Processor. It comes with 12GB LPDDR5X ram and as standard the base variant comes with 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

All flagship components and it truly is a treat in terms of performance. The 13R did not stutter at whatever we threw at it. Most of the games ran at high settings and we could easily carry more than 60 fps in the most demanding of games.

OnePlus has also managed to keep the heat in check. While gaming for longer periods of time, the phone only got mildly warm and heat was to the minimum.

This is mostly due to the vapour chamber aiding to the cooling during demanding sessions.

Fast Charging:

For when the battery does get discharged, there is fast charging. The OnePlus 13R comes with an 80W SuperVOOC charger.

It charges extremely fast and it will take just 55 minutes to charge to full. We were truly impressed by the charging capabilities of this phone.

High Refresh Rate Screen:

Not only is the display quite beautiful and bright direct light, it is also very fast. The 120 Hz refresh rate makes games feel butter smooth and adds to the experience.

This is specially prevalent in high action games which have lots of elements. The display is also rated at 1,800 nits of brightness with a peak of 6,000 nits. The 2780×1264 AMOLED panel is another spectacle and makes all the colours pop out without doing too much.

Gaming Mode:

One of the highlight features of the OnePlus 13R and a godsend while gaming. It activates automatically whenever you launch a game.

It improves the CPU efficiency, the GPU is also actively working to run games at 120 fps with HDR, the notifications are blocked and One Plus also optimizes network data to improve latency in gameplay of competitive online games. 

With the gaming mode on, you can also see the FPS and performance statistics of the phone.

All in all, the OnePlus 13R was a joy to use while gaming. It puts out impressive performance while not being an in your face gaming device. It has mature design and all the talk is done with its performance stats.

Battery Life:

The OnePlus 13R has a 6,000 mAh battery. It is one of the largest batteries in any phone and boy does it impress. If you are the one to do long gaming sessions, the battery just keeps on going in the OnePlus 13R.

We were easily getting hours of gameplay on the most demanding titles like PUBG and Genshin Impact with the settings turned all the way up.
