Nothing Phone 3 launching on July 1

The Nothing Phone 3 will launch globally on July 1, marking a major design change with the removal of the Glyph Interface. Expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, and a 50MP triple-camera setup, it promises high-end performance.

New Delhi:

It is also expected that Nothing will launch its first headphones together with the Phone 3. Carl Pei, the CEO, has mentioned that the new Nord 2 would see “a major boost in performance” over the older version. It is rumoured that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will power the flagship, which will make it one of Nothing’s most powerful devices.

Nothing official has announced the release date for the eagerly awaited Nothing Phone 3. The device will be introduced globally on July 1 at 6:00 pm BST (10:30 pm IST). This new phone marks a big shift for the company, since Nothing is planning to remove its popular Glyph lights. It’s not yet known if this means the feature will be gone forever or just changed. The company has shown teasers that suggest it might introduce a new look, possibly with RGB lighting or interchangeable features. Nothing Phone 3 display and camera (expected)

The Phone 3 is expected to have a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Because it’s so bright, the screen is easy to see when you’re outdoors in the sunlight. The phone may feature a triple camera at the back with 50 MP and a 32 MP camera for video chats and selfie shots.

Nothing Phone 3 performance and battery (expected)

The Phone 3 may probably offer good performance, relying on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The device includes a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 50 W wired and 20 W wireless charging, which matches what flagship models have.

No more Glyph Interface: What’s next?

A recent message on X (formerly Twitter) by Nothing says, “We killed the Glyph Interface,” which has raised curiosity about what’s coming next. Officially, nothing has been confirmed, but the company’s comments hint at a new design concept. Options might be arranging the lights differently or including a special element to set the design apart from others.

Nothing Phone 3 pricing (expected)

Carl Pei indicated a price of around €800 for the phone in Europe, but unofficial sources mention a $799 (approximately Rs 68,400) price tag. Rumours in India say the Phone 3 could launch from Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000, which is a big increase from the Nothing Phone 2’s starting price of Rs 44,999.
