The much-anticipated IPL 2025 is set to begin on March 22, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) facing defending champions Kolkata in the opening match. With just 10 days left, teams have shifted from strategizing behind the scenes to intense practice sessions.

During the team’s first practice session at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Patidar delivered a motivating message to his teammates. “We are here with a purpose, and we all share the same goal. Let’s create memories together and make this season special,” he urged. Acknowledging the team’s depth, he emphasized the strength of their bowling attack and his confidence in its performance.

For RCB, this season marks a fresh chapter under the leadership of Rajat Patidar. The franchise, still chasing its elusive maiden IPL title, is determined to turn history in its favour. Patidar, stepping into the captaincy role, has instilled a positive mindset within the squad.

Patidar also highlighted the advantage of having experienced captains within the squad, saying he sees this as an opportunity to grow as a leader. “You have supported me for the last three to four years. That inspires me. Let’s come together and make something extraordinary happen this year,” he said.

With a renewed spirit and leadership, RCB aims to finally lift the IPL trophy. Will this be the year they make history? The countdown begins.
