While the internet’s been buzzing with speculations, it has now been reported that the team of Bigg Boss Telugu renewed Nagarjuna’s contract with a hefty pay. Let’s delve into further details!

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 is already creating quite a buzz on social media ever since its official announcement. In the latest development, it was reported that makers were considering to replace longtime host of the show, Nagarjuna, with Nandamuri Balakrishna. However, it all turned up to be just a rumour.

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9: Who will host?

Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda’s name also surfaced to replace Nagarjuna as the host of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9. However, it was also a mere speculations.

According to the OTTPlay report, the Bigg Boss Telugu team has decided to stick with the host Nagarjuna, despite a lukewarm response to the previous season. In fact, it was also reported that the makers of the controversial reality show paid him a fat cheque to keep him on-board as they renewed his contract. For those who don’t know, Nagarjuna has been hosting the reality show for the last six years.

Meanwhile, the Telugu version of Bigg Boss Season 9 was first aired in 2017 and has seen several renowned faces as the host, including Jr NTR for Season one, Nani for Season two, and Nagarjuna has been hosting since Season three. Talking about Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9, it is expected to kick start around September 2025.

If reports are to be believed, Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9’s first contestant has been locked. Actor and comedian Bumchick Babloo aka Babloo, has been locked as a contestant, according to 123Telugu.

Nagarjuna’s work front

On the work front, Nagarjuna was last seen in Naa Saami Ranga. He will be next seen in Kuberaa, also starring Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Rajnikanth’s much-anticipated movie, Coolie, in his pipeline.
