LinkedIn 2025 Top Companies India

LinkedIn has released its 2025 list of top companies in India, with TCS, Accenture, and Infosys topping the charts once again. But a fresh wave of global companies like Fidelity Investments, Stripe, and ServiceNow are changing the game. The list reflects a shift in demand for skills like AI, cloud, and enterprise software—across both tech and finance.

The 2025 edition of LinkedIn’s Top Companies listis out, and it’s a reminder that India’s career landscape is changing faster than a browser refresh. TCS, Accenture, and Infosys held tight to the top three spots, but nearly half the list this year features newcomers—proof that opportunity is spreading across sectors.

With jobseekers eyeing career growth and stability, LinkedIn’s annual list tracks where Indians are most likely to thrive professionally. The ranking is based on real-time platform activity, pulling from data like employee advancement, skill-building, and company engagement.

Bengaluru still rules the job map

Out of the 25 companies, 22 list Bengaluru as a top talent hub. Hyderabad and Chennai also show up as key hiring cities, especially for companies in finance and enterprise software.

Here’s a peek at what the data says:

Rank

Company Name

City Hotspots

1

TCS

Bengaluru, Chennai

4

Fidelity Investments

Bengaluru, Hyderabad

17

ServiceNow

21

Stripe

AI, cloud, and cyber are the fastest-growing skill categories—across even traditional financial institutions like Morgan Stanley and DTCC.

It’s not just about tech

What really stands out is the blurring of lines between industries. Tech companies are hiring for finance roles. Finance firms want AI engineers. As Nirajita summed it up: “Whether it’s Amazon (#8) hiring for AI Engineers, JPMorgan Chase (#7) hiring fraud analysts, or American Express (#25) looking for commercial banking talent—different industries are prioritising adaptability, digital readiness, and strong problem-solving.”

She added, “Your next job doesn’t have to be in the same field as your last. If you’re willing to learn, experiment, and update your skills, your experience can translate into many new career paths.”

Skills that matter now

Here’s the kicker—tech skills aren’t limited to tech jobs anymore. LinkedIn’s data shows that skills like software development, AI engineering, and enterprise tools are in demand across banking, operations, and consulting roles too.

“These firms want professionals who understand customers, communicate across teams, and bring strategic thinking to the table,” said Nirajita. “So if you’re job hunting, don’t just focus on what you know; think about how you can use it in new ways.”

She continued, “We’re also seeing that Indian professionals are ready to pivot: 60% are open to switching industries, and 39% plan to upskill this year. That’s what makes this year’s list especially encouraging for jobseekers because it shows that companies across very different sectors are looking for similar skill sets.”

Companies hiring now are seeking people who can think strategically, communicate well across teams, and adapt quickly to tech changes. And it’s not just about degrees—real-world skills are driving the conversation.

That message is clear across the list. TCS (#1), Accenture (#2), Infosys (#3), and Cognizant (#5) show that tech majors still offer strong growth paths. But what’s more telling is how firms like Fidelity Investments (#4), ServiceNow (#17), and Stripe (#21) are pushing in, proving that global firms see India not just as a back-office base, but a hub for innovation.

Amazon (#8), Alphabet (#9), and Salesforce (#12) are also actively hiring in India. These companies are focused on roles like software engineering, AI, and data analytics—making Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai the hottest job markets this year. Tech and finance still lead the pack

As expected, IT, software, and financial services dominate the top 25. “TCS (#1), Accenture (#2), and Infosys (#3) continue to dominate, showing that IT services remain a strong foundation to employment generation in our country,” said Nirajita Banerjee, Career Expert and Head of Editorial

She added, “Companies across the list are hiring for skills like development tools, enterprise software, and data storage, not just in tech roles, but across consulting, finance, and operations too. These overlaps in skilling requirements across industries is a signal for jobseekers: if you can take technical knowledge and apply it to solve business problems, you will stand out.”
