Candidates preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2025 will now be able to download their admit cards starting May 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, according to IIT Kanpur. This is a slight delay from the previously announced date of May 11.

Education expert Dev Sharma, speaking with ETV Bharat, stated that along with the admit cards, students will also receive crucial instructions regarding the precautions they need to take before, during, and after the examination. Details about the examination centre and the city where it is located will also be mentioned on the admit card.

IIT Kanpur has announced on its official website that the registered candidates can now download the JEE Advanced 2025 admit cards starting at 10:00 AM on May 12, 2025.

The JEE Advanced 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on May 18, 2025, in two shifts: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The entire examination will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT).

It is estimated that about 1.85 lakh students will appear for the examination, marking the highest participation in the history of JEE Advanced. IIT Kanpur, the organising institute for JEE Advanced 2025, will be issuing the admit cards to all the eligible candidates.

This year has seen a record number of registrations for JEE Advanced. Out of the 2.5 lakh students who qualified through JEE Main 2025, a whopping 1.92 lakh applied online for JEE Advanced, and around 1.90 lakh completed their registration by paying the required fees.
