Global outreach delegation heads for Japan, another set to visit UAE

India launched a major diplomatic initiative, sending seven all-party delegations to 32 countries and the EU. The aim is to showcase Operation Sindoor's success in dismantling Pakistan-based terror infrastructure and highlight India's commitment to combating terrorism. The delegations, comprising MPs and former ministers, will present dossiers detailing Pakistan's role in supporting terrorism, focusing on attacks like 2008 Mumbai and 2005 London bombings. This global outreach underscores India's proactive stance against cross-border terrorism.

New Delhi:

India is fanning out seven all-party delegations for the global outreach on Operation Sindoor. An all-party delegation led by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha left from Delhi airport on Wednesday. The delegation is set to visit Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore to showcase Operation Sindoor and India’s continued fight against terrorism. Another delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde, is set to depart for the United Arab Emirates.

Out of the 59 leaders, as many as 31 belong to the ruling NDA, while the rest are from non-NDA parties. The seven delegations, comprising 59 members of Parliament, former ministers, and politicians from across party lines, will tour 32 countries as well as the European Union headquarters in Brussels.
