On the work front, Dhanshree will soon be seen in Akasam Daati Vastaava. With this movie, she will be making her Tamil debut and turning another chapter in her career. The actress seems fully focused, and the choreographer cum actress recently spoke about her love life and shared how dance stood as a backbone in her tough and happy days.

Dhanashree Verma was recently in headlines due to the chaos in her personal life, but the choreographer is now doing well in her professional life. She recently gave the year’s best bachelor’s anthem, Ting Ling Sajna.

“Who doesn’t want love?” says Dhanashree

She also stated that right now, she wants to present herself in the best way possible in her career, and if she were destined for love, then she would accept it with open arms, as who doesn’t want love?

In a recent interview with the Times of India, when the actress was asked that is she was open to love again or if she was fully dedicated to her career, she replied, “I’ve always been extremely focused on my goals, whether it was during my time as a dentist or now in the entertainment industry… Pyaar ki baat karein, toh (If we talk about love), you can’t plan these things. Aap ye decide nahi kar sakte ke main aaj ya ek saal baad pyaar mein padhungi (You can’t decide that I’ll fall in love today or after a year). Love is a different entity altogether. What matters most to me is mera focus our main apne life mein aage kya dekh rahi hoon (my focus and what do I see ahead in my life).”

Dhanashree says, “I don’t take narratives seriously”

On how she tackles the narratives made of her, she said, “The narratives circulating about me are far from the truth. None of it reflects who I am, and I don’t engage with it because I know my values, my upbringing, and the kind of person I am. I’ve always believed in maintaining dignity and grace. Putting others down has never been my way, and it never helps anyone rise in life.”

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra’s divorce

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra tied the knot on December 2020. The couple got divorced in February 2025. They chose to part ways due to mutual differences after four years of their marriage.
