David Warner Slams Air India; Vows Never To Fly With Airline Company

Former Australian batter David Warner has blasted Air India following the Ahmedabad plane crash saying that he will not travel with them.

Air India's AI 171 flight departing from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport, Ahmedabad to Gatwick Airport, London. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner of Air India crashed only a few minutes after take-off. The mishap resulted in around 274 fatalities, including 241 on flight and 33 on ground.

The aircraft lost the stability at approximately 625 feet altitude and came down crashing within minutes of departure into the hostel of B.J. Medical College in the Meghaninagar area of Ahmedabad.

Veteran Australia batter David Warner has reacted to the Ahmedabad plane crash and has slammed Air India after the tragic air accident. He has also said that he will never fly with them in the future. There was only one survivor in the plane crash, 40-year-old British national Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, who took an emergency exit from his 11A seat. The investigations are going on regarding the matter.

Warner, shared a comment on a video from the social media user Vivek, allegedly an ex-Air India crew person who had pointed out issues in the aircraft.

'Hey! I'm an ex air india crew and this was a frequent aircraft that I'd fly,' the original post read. This aircraft has had issues for years. Literally years. The crew, pilots, engineers, literally everyone has always mentioned about it in the log book. But the company didn't have a spare Dreamliner for their most precious Gatwick sector. Which is why we were always made to fly this aircraft,” the post read.

While tagging the post, Warner stated that he will never fly with Air India again.Warner made his debut for Australia in T20Is in 2009 against South Africa. The left-handed batter has amassed 3277 runs from 110 fixtures with a strike rate of 142.47.

The 38-year-old made his Test debut against the Blackcaps in 2011. He has accrued 8786 runs from 112 matches and 205 innings with an average of 44.59. The right-handed batter has racked up 6932 from 161 matches with a strike rate of 97.26..
