The Mariners clinched the title in spectacular fashion, defeating Mumbai City FC in the final, proving once again why they are one of the most passionately followed clubs in Indian football history.

The recognition of this triumph echoed far and wide when the club’s President, Swapan Sadhan Bose, wrote a letter to Mohun Bagan Super Giant Chairman Dr. Sanjiv Goenka. In the letter, Mr. Bose congratulated Dr.

Goenka on the team’s exceptional achievement of winning both the League Shield and the ISL trophy. He also expressed gratitude to Dr. Goenka for the opportunity to remain associated with the club he considers his ‘mother club’.

Mr. Bose applauded Dr. Goenka for initiating a new era and rekindling the spirit among the die-hard fans across generations, uniting them to cheer the loudest for the team.
