The much-anticipated Malayalam action thriller starring Mammootty, Bazooka, finally hit theatres on Thursday, April 10. Written and directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, the film has received mixed reviews from netizens so far. While many applauded Mammootty’s performance, others called the narrative “average”.

Malayalam film Bazooka is an action-packed thriller revolving around a cop and a businessman who team up on a mission to catch a serial killer. What starts as a revenge drama soon turns into a complex mind game involving tech, identity and past trauma.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Mammootty starrer Bazooka earned around Rs 1.31 crore India net on its first day so far. As per the trade analyst Ramesh Bala, it is expected to gross between Rs 5 crore to Rs 8 crore on its opening day.
