 In this era of re-releases, where Bollywood classics are drawing major footfalls to theaters and raking in big moolah at the Box Office, another cult film is making its way back into cinemas. Yes, we are talking about Andaz Apna Apna. You read that right!

“I couldn’t watch it in theatres back then. Will not miss the opportunity this time,” posted an X (formerly known as Twitter) user. Another wrote, “Great news. All-time favourite movie. Every scene is epic in its own funny way.”

On IMDb (Internet Movie Database), Andaz Apna Apna holds a rating of 8 out of 10, with insights from almost 57 thousand users on the platform. The storyline of the flick revolves around two greedy youths who leave no stone unturned to impress an heiress for selfish reasons. Unexpected twists and turns await the two as the plot progresses, further elevating the entertainment quotient.

Directed by renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi, Andaz Apna Apna is scheduled to hit the silver screen again on April 25, 2025. Alongside the blockbuster duo, the film also features Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, Viju Khote, Tiku Talsania, Harish Patel, Mehmood, Deven Verma and Jagdeep in pivotal roles.

It is believed that Andaz Apna Apna failed to make a significant impact at the Box Office during its initial release. According to Sacnilk, it minted Rs 7.10 crore in India. The industry tracker further states that the film earned Rs 0.49 crore overseas, taking its total collection to Rs 7.59 crore globally at the Box Office.

Andaz Apna Apna, produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha, was originally released on November 4, 1994. Years later, it has now become a part of meme culture among younger generations.
