According to the Charkop police official, a 30-year-old woman filed a complaint alleging that the House Arrest host raped at multiple locations with the promise that he would help her get roles in the film. She also claimed that Ajaz Khan had invited her to join the controversial reality show as a host.

Actor Ajaz Khan’s legal trouble seems not to end soon. Amid the House Arrest controversy, a rape case has been registered against the actor on Sunday (May 4) at Charkop Police Station in Mumbai. A woman, who is a newcomer actress, accused the actor of raping her on the pretext of helping her enter the film industry, according to an official.

Rape case filed again Ajaz Khan

The actor has been booked under Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections concerning rape and the probe is currently underway, according to an official.

The police will soon summon the actor for questioning in the case. However, Ajaz Khan has not issued an official statement regarding the allegations yet.

A rape case has been filed against Ajaz Khan by a 30-year-old woman in Mumbai, following an FIR in the House Arrest controversy. The woman alleged that the actor took her to his residence, where he sexually assaulted her against her will. She further claimed that during the shoot of the reality show, House Arrest, the actor allegedly proposed to her and later promised to marry her after converting to his religion.

House Arrest controversy

On Friday (May 2), the Mumbai Police registered an FIR against the actor Ajaz Khan, producer Rajkumar Pandey and others for alleged obscene content on the web reality show, House Arrest, which streamed on the Ullu App.

Some videos of the House Arrest were circulated on social media that allegedly showed Ajaz Khan forcing contestants to perform intimate situation and take off their undergarments from beneath their clothes. Ajaz Khan was also summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW) after the videos went viral. Meanwhile, the show was pulled down from the OTT platform after facing massive backlash.
