Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmad shone on his debut for CSK with an excellent bowling performance which helped the hosts restrict Mumbai Indians to 155/9 in 20 overs. Noor picked up the important wickets of the likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma to finish with brilliant figures of 4/18 off his 4 overs.
Noor was roped in by Chennai Super Kings for a huge sum of Rs 10 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction last year and is expected to play a key role for the franchise in their home leg this season.
Noor had already gotten off to a dream start and will be hoping to continue his fine form in the remainder of the season for the five-time champions.
