Taha Shah Badussa talks about his entry into acting:

Actor Taha Shah Badussha, who rose to fame with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, shared an emotional story about how he entered into the world of acting. He revealed, “I was going through a really tough time while deciding whether to pursue acting.

One day, I was just lying in bed at home when my mother walked in, pulled me up, and asked, ‘What happened to your acting dream?’ Without saying much, she took me downstairs, put me in the car, and drove from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi. We went straight to the New York Film Academy. She registered me for the course, took me to the dormitory, and left me there with the other boys.”

“I still remember the room. It had nothing but a plastic sheet on the bed. She looked at me and said, ‘You’re sleeping here tonight. I’ll come back tomorrow with your food and clothes. And you’re going to start acting.’ And I did. I haven’t looked back since,” the actor added.

Vineet Kumar Singh is known for his intense performances in films like Chhaava, Mukkabaaz and Gangs of Wasseypur, shared some valuable insights about his career trajectory.

Vineet Kumar Singh talks about his Bollywood career trajectory

“Gangs of Wasseypur is this generation’s Sholay,” he said, highlighting the cult status of the film. However, he revealed that despite the film’s success, he did not experience an immediate breakthrough like his co-stars. Vineet opened up about his initial days as an assistant director and how he continues to learn even after more than two decades in the industry.

“When Gangs of Wasseypur worked wonders for my contemporaries, but me, I actually sat myself down to think and asked ‘Why nothing is happening to me?’ That was when I took a pen and paper and wrote a film called Mukkabaaz. I took the script and ventured to find the right producer, but only on one condition. I would be the protagonist, and this condition is non-negotiable.

And even though that film took five years away from me, it eventually repaid the hard work of almost ten years. So, when things don’t work out for you, you should try to find the reason behind it. And the sooner you understand it, the better result you get,” he further added.
