 In a fun banter on X (formerly Twitter), Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR have dropped an update on the much-awaited movie, War 2. The conversation on social media hinted that a massive update will be dropped on Jr NTR’s birthday on May 20. The banter on social media has left the fans excited for the sixth instalment in the highly anticipated YRF Spy Universe.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Hrithik Roshan wrote, “Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me, you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? #War2.”

In response, Jr. NTR wrote, “Thank you in advance @hrithikroshan sir!!! Can’t wait to hunt you down to give you a special return gift Kabir…#War2.” He also praised Jr. NTR and said, “He’s such a fine teammate, man! And I think we’ve done something good, and I can’t wait for you guys to watch it. War 2, August 14.”

Earlier, Hrithik Roshan shared during an event in the US, “I was very afraid about how the sequel would turn out, but I have to say I am extremely proud of this film. Ek gaana bacha hai bas, the film is shot. And that song is with Jr NTR, which I’m going back now to film. I hope I do well. I’m nervous—and he’s amazing. But this film will be bigger and better than part 1. So wish me luck.”

About War 2

War 2 is the sequel to Siddharth Anand’s directorial of the 2019 hit film, War, starring Hrithik Roshan, Vaani Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. The sequel stars Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR. War 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on August 14 in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
