Aamir Khan’s production venture, Sitaare Zameen Par, underwent huge promotion, marking the actor’s return to the screen after his last movie which was released three years ago. Despite all this, his film is not getting a good response from the fans.

Movie’s promotional activities: The movie Namaste England stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. These actors indulged themselves in high-profile promotional activities, which involved media interactions in cities like Vadodara and Mumbai. The team also did a special screening of the duo’s last movie, Ishqzaade. The film was also promoted in colleges by teaching students the hook steps of the songs by the stars themselves, but the movie could only collect Rs 11.50 crores in India.
About the movie: The movie is about a couple, Jasmeet and Param, who want to settle in the UK so that they can get some freedom from the girl’s conservative family, and they can live their life peacefully in a foreign country. But the couple has to face a lot of problems to get the visa. Watch to see how the couple got the visa and the situations they faced.
Bewakoofiyan:
Movie’s promotional activities: Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana’s 2014 movie Bewakoofiyan also did good promotional activities, such as organising a flash mob at Mumbai’s Nariman Point, where the actor danced and distributed pamphlets among the fans. Not only this, a contest was also organised, which said get a job at YRF, and the contestants were chosen by Ayushmann Khurrana and Sonam Kapoor. Also, behind-the-scenes photos of the actors were posted on social media to engage the fans with the movie. The film’s gross collection in India was only Rs 18.83 Cr
About the movie: The movie is about a boy named Mohit who gets promoted in his job and proposes to his girlfriend but the girl’s father doesn’t agrees for this relationship and puts a challenge in front of Mohit and says if he wins in the squash game daily with him then he would agree for their relationship and marriage. Just because Mohit agrees to win the challenge and goes to play daily and due to it, he loses his job, after which their relationship takes a U-turn.
Kurbaan:
Movie’s promotional activities: This movie came out in 2009 and stars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. It reportedly minted Rs 31.7 crore in India, whereas the film’s promotional activity included a partnership with Neo cricket for on-air promotion during the India-Australia series. Economic Times and India Times also featured Saif and Kareena at the press conference in Delhi and an event at the J.W. Marriott in Mumbai.Â
About the movie:Â The movie is based on terrorism, where the story starts with how Avantika, a professor of psychology, fell in love with a terrorist without knowing his past, and shifts to the US because of her job. She also helps her lover to get into the same university as a professor, but later learns that she has helped a terrorist.
