Bharat Thakur organises yoga, meditation camp in Haridwar

On April 12, classical singer Padma Shri Dr. Soma Ghosh, also offered an unforgettable evening of mesmerising music at the five-day camp. Renditions of Thumri, Shiva Tandava, Khayal, and Dadra were well-received by the audience. Dr Thakur was also joined by classical dancer and choreographer Rajkumari Mohina Kumari Singh. She is also the daughter-in-law of Uttarakhand’s Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj. The event was also graced by Shweta Kumari Rathore from the royal family of Jodhpur.
Over a 100 seekers came together in Haridwar from April 9 to April 13 for a five-day meditation camp led by Dr Bharat Thakur. The event is described as a rare, soul-stirring experience at the Artistic Yoga Research Centre where participants experienced self-realisation, peace, and silence.
Dr Thakur has played a crucial role in promoting yoga as a one-of-a-kind practice that preserves both physical and mental health. During the camp, Dr Thakur explained that peace is not something that is achieved, but is lived and remembered. The brain needs to be at peace, and yet people often look for it outside.
